iolite Short Course September 26th and 27th, 2023

The iolite and ESL applications teams will be running a two-day short course (9am - 5pm both days) on how to use the iolite data reduction package. No previous iolite experience is required, but some familiarity with LA-ICP-MS concepts is assumed.

The following topics will be covered:

Importing and visualising your data in iolite
Trace element data processing
U-Pb geochronology (basics)
Image creation and analysis
Quality control modules
Automation

There will be a $330USD fee for the workshop which includes lunches for both days. We are offering 5 FREE student registrations. Students interested should send an email to iolite@icpms.com with a supporting letter/note from their supervisor.
